Advanced Roadmaps look great in Jira, but did you know that you could also display them in Confluence? It is true. If you go to your Advanced Roadmap, there is a share button that will give you the option to share to Confluence. If you click on the Generate Link button, this will generate a unique URL for your Advanced Roadmap. You simply take that link and go to Confluence. Open up any page you want to embed your Advanced Roadmap and that’s it! Super simple and now your Advanced Roadmap can be seen in Confluence.
But, why would you want to do this? Why embed your Advanced Roadmap in Confluence? The answer is pretty simple. In Jira, you have to go to a bunch of different places to get all the information. You go to your board for ticket statuses. You go to a Dashboard to get metrics. You go to reports to get a different set of metrics. And finally, you go to your Plans to see the Advanced Roadmaps. By being able to display your Advanced Roadmap within Confluence, you can create a one stop shop for your stakeholders. They simply need to bookmark one Confluence page and from there, they can see critical program/project/product information. Try it out today!
